I had not been back to the dentist for a while, and found Dr. Young by chance. Since I started going to his practice just a couple of years ago, I get compliments on the brightness/whiteness of my smile--I have never gotten this before in my life. What else could a dental patient ask for?

Dr. Young is THE NICEST dentist I have ever been too! He was so patient, kind and through during my exam and answered ALL of my million questions. I have never had a dentist make me feel so cared for and relaxed while in his chair, I cannot wait to schedule my follow-up with him in 6 months! THANK YOU DR. YOUNG!!

Dr. Kim is the best dentist I've ever had. He uses modern equipment and techniques, but is "old school" in his gentle approach, thoroughness, and kindness. He is more than reasonable in his charges. Dr. Kim truly seeks to help the community he serves.
Types of Dental Emergencies
Toothaches
Anything from a popcorn husk lodged in your gums to a fractured tooth or a bacterial infection might trigger a toothache. Some toothaches are caused by gum irritation that lasts only a few days. Serious toothaches, on the other hand, necessitate dental treatment to alleviate the pain and fix the underlying issue.
Tooth Extraction
Tooth extraction may be required due to severe tooth decay, infection, or crowding. Patients who are undergoing chemotherapy may require the removal of compromised teeth in order to maintain their oral health. Tooth extraction is a reasonably rapid outpatient surgery that can be done under local, general, intravenous, or a combination of anesthetic by a dentist or oral surgeon.
Broken or Loose Tooth
Even though the enamel that protects your teeth is the hardest and most mineralized tissue in your body, it has its limits. A tooth can chip or break as a result of a fall, a blow to the face, or biting down on something hard, especially if the tooth is already decayed. Don't be alarmed if you find out you've damaged or chipped a tooth. There are numerous things we may take to correct the situation.
Knocked Out Tooth
It is typical for children, but also active adults, to be injured while participating in sports, particularly contact sports. Unfortunately, the face is frequently the site of injury, making athletic injuries a significant relationship between sports and dentistry. Dental injuries caused by sports can range from minor chips to the entire loss of a tooth.
Lost Filling or Crown (Cap)
The first thing you should do if you lose a filling or crown is to store it safely. If it isn't broken, it may be salvageable, which will save you time and money when having it repaired and replaced. The next step is to contact us to schedule an appointment to inspect and repair the spot.
Excessive Bleeding
Gum bleeding is a symptom of gingivitis, or gum inflammation. It's a frequent and mild form of gum disease caused by plaque accumulation at the gumline. Your gums may be inflamed, red, and swollen if you have gingivitis. Brushing your teeth may cause them to bleed.
